Dior's "Garden Party"

Christian Dior grew up in Granville, on the cliffs of Normandy, in a house buffeted by strong winds, and seemingly unsuited to the creation of a garden. However, the young man’s creative strength and relentless hard work defied nature, and today one can still admire the garden in bloom and in particular, the fantastic rose garden planted with his own hands.

Christian Dior also loved the excitement of parties, and often hosted the aptly named “Grand Balls of the Century” with enchanted beauties from the Normandy coast and Paris alike. The theme of the festive garden is still alive today throughout many Dior creations. The Dior spring color collection is inspired by Dior’s fantastic garden."
Dior will be launching its Garden Party Spring 2012 Makeup Collection later on in January 2012. The collection is based on Dior's garden in Granville, Normandy. The absolutely gorgeous collection includes products for the cheeks, nails and lips, with follow ups of a skin care product range, heated lash curlers and a new perfume. The very pretty collection comes in equally pretty packaging. The Dior Garden Clutch is a beautiful hand finished clutch with shades of Lilly Garden (silver/pinks) and Granville Garden (green/peach). The 5 Couleurs Palette Garden Edition comes in two colourways and is limited edition. They also have pretty roses embellished on them which look so unique and gorgeous. The Dior Vernis Garden Party nail colours are even rose scented and are in the bright shades of Waterlily (green) and Forget-Me-Not (lilac). Rosy Glow is a beautiful pink blush. Dior Ultra Addict Gloss feature in the shades of Rose Mondain, Lilas Party and Rose Pretty. A very cute and must-have collection indeed.
